Description

The largest island on Lough Erne, in County Fermanagh. The figure depicted in this print is known as a Janus-figure after the two headed Roman god of doorways and passages ‘Janus’, as celebrated in Seamus Heaney’s poem ‘January God’, though there is no real connection. It is more likely to be a depiction of a Celtic deity. This print is presented in a snow white mountcard and is supplied in a clear polythene bag for protection. The frame has glass for protection and arrives ready for hanging. (Code: BOA)
